Probability Mass Function

A probability mass function is a function that returns the probability that a Discrete Random Variable is exactly equal to some value.

Note

The total area under the curve for a probability mass function must always be $1$.

Example:

$G(3)$: Probability $x$ == 3

**For sample space $\mathrm{0..5}$: $G(3)=1/5$

**For sample space $\mathrm{0..10}$: $G(5)=1/10$
